I have an Ademco Vista 20 that shows OC in the keypad display. This appeared after the power went out in the house for 12 hours. Any ideas as to how to get it back on line would be appreciated.

I just bought a house built in 1999. It has the Caddx NX-4 system installed but it was never lit up. I had to connect the 110 plug myself in which I removed from it's new wrapping. I have the system powered up but do not have any idea of the master code to set it up. Can someone help me with this?

Hi. We have an Caddx alarm. I don't know the model, but we need turn off the chime but do not have the "chime" code. We do have the master code. Does anyone know how to change the code. The alarm was installed in 1996. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank You.

I have a Vista 20P that I bought on ebay about 6 months ago. It was new in an unopened box and current production. I powered the system up the first time and assigned the address for each of the two keypads and powered the system down. The next time I powered the system up there is no keypad display and the system does not respond to any commands. I cannot get into the programing mode using the normal methods that are outlined in the programing guide. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks Barry

I have a Ademco Vista-20 that is armed and for some reason the master code is not working and I can not unarm it. Does anyone have any suggestions? We are prisoners in our own home.

I am also seeking a way to reset the master on an ademco 4110 the monitoring company has been out of business for years and I don't know the master code. I do know 2 user codes but would like to add/change codes and other features and the user codes are useless for that.

Does anyone know how to unlock the Caddx NX-8, NX-6 panels? The company that was monitoring it went out of business and changed the master code. I tried hooking up my laptop, but they changer Loc. 19 also. Can someone help.

I have the vista 10se I had smith alarm install and now adt has bought smith alarm I do own the system but think I am going to get the run around from them on the installer code, I really need the code so I can switch to another monitoring company, they need to reprogram it is there any way to reset the code to the default codes if they will not let me have the one they have on file. the numbers on the board are SA142GENC W79288 C195. There is also a sticker inside on the board that has SAV10SMITHE V10SMITH. Thank you Jeff Brown

I am looking for information on the security business. I have several years in law enforcement and private security in North Carolina, and am gathering information in hopes of putting together my own security guard company. I am looking for operating procedures, how to get contracts and price out bids. Information is not easy to locate. I have visited the local library several times and conducted several searches on the web, the information is very limited. I would appreciate any information or suggestions that anyone is willing to provide me.

I am looking for information regarding security using handcuffs to restrain patients in the health care environment in Iowa. Interested in hearing from other hospital security personnel in Iowa using handcuffs or flex cuffs as a restraint. Are you using them? Do you have to be a certified Peace Officer in order to carry or use? etc. The main use would be temporary in the transportation of patients from the emergency department to the behavioral health unit. I would like to visit with any security managers of Civic Centers or public event arenas. I have just started working at a Civic Center. I have found that there is not a detailed security policy in place. I am an ex cop and have been asked to put one in place. I am aware of general considerations. I would like to get ideas specialized in this venue.
